Getting to the Venue

Public Transport:

From Bristol Temple Meads train station: Take Bus 8 (every 10 minutes), 9 or 72. To find the bus stop, exit the train station and turn right. The bus stops are located approximately 50 m from the entrance – the 8 has its own bus stop, with the 9/72 sharing a bus stop a further 10 m along.

Alight at the Hippodrome (also called College Green/Bristol Cathedral/Watershed stop) for the Marriott. A single adult ticket costs £2.

Bus fares can be paid by cash, using a contactless card, or using the First Bus mobile app.

From the airport: use the A1 airport flyer to get to Bristol Temple Meads train station, and switch to bus routes 8, 9 or 72 . The Flyer will drop you off just next to the bus top at Temple Meads. A single ticket on the flyer costs £7, and a return £11.

By train:
The easiest train station to use is Bristol Temple Meads. You can also alight at Bristol Parkway and get a connecting train to Bristol Temple Meads. Regular bus services connect Temple Meads station to the venue (see above). To book train tickets use National Rail Enquires or the Split Tickets site.

By bus:
National Expresses offers a 2 h express bus service from all the Heathrow Terminals to Bristol Bus Station. From here, walk to Bond Street (BS1 3LU, behind Debenhman’s) to catch the 8,9 or 72 to the venue (College Green/Hippodrome/Bristol Cathedral/Watershed stop).

Nearby car parks are the Millenium Square car park (£14 for up to 12 h),  Prince Street car park (advance booking available), Trenchard Street Long Stay Car Park (£12 for over 4 hours).  You can also use the Park and Ride service to get into Bristol, or park at the West End long stay car park (£12 for over 4 hours) and walk down (or get a bus from Queens Road, outside of Sainsbury’s) to the centre. The West End Car park is closer to Brown’s (venue for dinner on the 23) and Pinkman’s (venue for dinner on the 22) than the other car parks listed above.
